If you run a business website, you already know the frustration: visitors land on your site, look around, and leave — without ever reaching out. You might have a contact form buried on a page somewhere, but most people don’t bother filling it out. The result? Missed leads, lost revenue, and wasted marketing spend.
That’s exactly why we built Evie — an AI-powered chatbot designed specifically for WordPress websites.
What Is Evie?
Evie is an intelligent chatbot that sits on your website and engages with every visitor in real time. She answers questions, qualifies leads, collects contact details, and even books consultations — all without you lifting a finger.
Unlike generic chatbot plugins that rely on rigid decision trees, Evie is powered by Claude AI, one of the most advanced language models available. This means she actually understands what your visitors are asking and responds naturally, like a real team member would.
Why We Built Evie
At Evosion, we work with businesses across Australia on everything from SEO to Google Ads and social media marketing. One problem we kept seeing with our clients was this: they were driving traffic to their websites, but the conversion rate was painfully low.
The issue wasn’t the traffic — it was the lack of immediate engagement. When someone lands on your site with a question, they want an answer now. Not in 24 hours when you check your inbox. Not after filling out a 10-field form. Now.
So we built a solution that gives every visitor an instant, intelligent response the moment they arrive.
How Evie Works
Here’s what happens when someone visits your website with Evie installed:
- Evie greets the visitor with a friendly welcome message (or a welcome video if you’ve set one up)
- The visitor asks a question — about your services, pricing, availability, or anything else
- Evie responds instantly using your custom knowledge base, drawing from information you’ve provided about your business
- When the visitor shows interest, Evie naturally guides them to share their contact details
- You receive a lead notification by email with the full conversation transcript and visitor details
The entire process takes minutes, and it happens automatically — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Key Features That Set Evie Apart
AI-Powered Conversations
Evie doesn’t just match keywords. She uses Claude AI to understand context, follow up naturally, and give genuinely helpful answers. You simply paste your business information into the Knowledge Base editor, and Evie learns it instantly.
Lead Capture That Actually Works
Instead of a static form, Evie collects lead details through natural conversation. She asks for the visitor’s name, email, phone number, business name, and what they’re looking for — all in a way that feels like chatting with a helpful team member.
Talk to a Human (Pro Feature)
Sometimes a visitor needs to speak with a real person. With the Pro plan, Evie can instantly connect them to you via SMS. You receive a magic link, tap it on your phone, and you’re in a live chat with the visitor — no login required.
Full Analytics Dashboard
See every conversation, track leads, monitor what visitors are asking about, and export data — all from your WordPress admin panel.
Brand Customisation
Change Evie’s name, avatar, colours, welcome message, and personality to match your brand perfectly. She’ll feel like a natural extension of your team.
Who Is Evie For?
Evie is ideal for:
- Service businesses that want to capture enquiries from website visitors
- Agencies and consultants who need to qualify leads before booking calls
- E-commerce stores looking for instant customer support
- Healthcare providers who want to streamline patient enquiries
- Any business that’s tired of losing leads to slow response times
We’ve seen it work for businesses across Australia — from medical centres to trade services, finance to hospitality.
